I ask for his will for my life daily. As you mentioned it is hard and takes a conscious effort to move out of the front seat and into the passenger/backseat, however thy will be done is the best advice. We have a short span of insight while GOD is Alpha and Omega. It will always be a daily battle to step aside and allow GOD to lead but it gets easier and is well worth it. For instance, my personal struggle lately has been I need to pour myself more into devotionals, more into Wednesday night service; my question to myself has been what am doing wrong, I’m not seeing growth like how I feel I should see it(this is me comparing myself to other Christians)? Like a 18wheeler, it just hit me as I started responding to this particular lyfe102. I can grow more, I can I do more, but my more doesn’t have to look like someone else’s more, as long as I’m genuine and have the relationship with GOD that feels me it’s okay because Everyone’s story is different. It comes full circle because this thought has been very present on my mind lately and here Dwan comes with another great encouragement that GOD allowed me to read and I’m plowed down by the 18 wheeler truck that opens my eyes, mind, and heart. The grace and wisdom of my ever present Alpha and Omega!!
