Nature of God
“In God’s faithfulness lies eternal security.” Corrie Ten Boom
God is faithful.
These three words give me comfort.
I see constant change when I look at the world today. However, nothing stays the same, which is not always bad.
Meditating on this nature of God, His faithfulness is reassuring. Scripture is replete with demonstrations of God’s faithfulness.
Since God does not change, His faithfulness remains for us today.
“Everything about God is great, vast, incomparable. He never forgets, never fails, never falters, and never forfeits His word. To every declaration of promise or prophecy the Lord has exactly adhered, every engagement of covenant or threatening He will make good.” (Pink, 1975)
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23 ESV
God’s very nature is to be faithful. Therefore, he cannot be unfaithful. If He were unfaithful, he would not be God.
So no matter the situation, God can take care of His children.

“The sooner we trustfully resign ourselves and all our affairs into God’s hands, fully persuaded of His love and faithfulness, the sooner we will be satisfied with His providences and realize, with Fanny Crosby, that He “doeth all thing well” (Pink, 1975)
As this week continues, rest assured that God never fails. He will not fail. He cannot fail.
