Having a Faith
If you are a follower of Jesus, you have already begun your walk of faith continue to grow in your faith
If you are not, here is what you need to know to begin you own walk.
We are not perfect (a sinner) “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23. Because we are not perfect, it separates us from God and condemns us to death. “For the wages of sin is death….” Romans 6:23. (I John 1:8, Hebrews 9:27)
We can be saved because of God’s love for us. “God demonstrated His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners Christ die for us” Romans 5:8. “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16. (2 Corinthians 5:21, I Peter 3:18)
We are given a free gift of eternal life through Jesus. “For by grace are you saved and that not of yourself it is a gift of God not of works” Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)
He who created us without our help will not save us without our consent.

Here is how to start your faith
Pray a prayer to God to:
Confess and repent of your sins: “But if we confess our sins to him he is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.” I John 1:9.
Believe: That Jesus died on the cross for your sins that you may have eternal life with God. “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved…” Acts 16:31 “Anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life…” John 3:36.
If you have decided to follow Jesus today here are a few things you should start doing:
Start studying the Bible
Find a local Bible-believing church
Join a bible study group
Connect with other Christians
“And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life. I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.” I John 5:11-13
